Adoptwildlife.org is a programme

Trust, a British charity registered under number 1087680).
Its sole purpose is to raise money for One World Wildlife.
As a registered charity, One World Wildlife is involved
in numerous projects all around the world. One World Wildlife's
core belief is that it is essential to understand that
people are part of the environment and that all species
have a role to play in balanced living ecosystems.
Through education, high quality research and on-going
communication with people involved at all levels, One
World Wildlife's programmes - including adoptwildlife.org

|
Am I adopting an individual
animal? |
| |
|
|
| |
|
No, adoptwildlife.org offers
you the chance to adopt an unnamed animal. If we were
to offer individual adoptions, we would spend a greater
proportion of your donation on administration.
Your adoption of one animal symbolises our - and your
- support for all of that species, its habitat and the
many other animals that share it. |

|
Is my transaction secure? |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Yes! Security is probably
one of the most significant concerns when making an online
transaction. In reality an online transaction is probably
more secure than a credit card transaction in a shop or
conducted over the telephone or by fax, as the information
transmitted online is highly encrypted using complicated
logarithm combinations.
One World Wildlife and adoptwildlife.org use the WorldPay
payment system whose public web servers are certified
by Thawte, a Public
Certificate Authority.
The transfer of the purchase details from One World Wildlife
to Worldpay are encapsulated using our own encrypted and
digitally-signed protocol, to ensure that the information
passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Any communication between you and WorldPay is also encrypted
to the maximum strength supported by your browser. You
are also protected by your credit card company from fraudulent
use of their card in a "card not present" environment.
Data storage on WorldPay systems, and the communication
between WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, are
regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure
a secure transaction environment. We also ensure that
we stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party
code we use, and continually review our own proprietary
code. |
